Hattons 42-2-0....Ex champ and top level athlete, but his 31...And NEVER done MMA, or wrestling or even Judo for that matter.....Why ruin his legacy by risking being taken down and pounded out on live tv? Is it worth it? I dont think so.....But I guess its the same as the ex pro footballers who decide they can conquer MMA cause there like real strong....

Kermit Cintron I think would have the best shot of the current crop of champions/former champs. He was an accomplished high school wrestler and was offered a free ride to wrestle at Ohio State and Univ. of Wisconsin, but he turned them down.

He's tall, rangy, has a solid chin and can really crack. He's also faced top flight competition and has fared pretty well. He is 30 though so maybe it would be a little late. On the other hand he did express an interest in competing in MMA but he's not a big enough name for anyone to care if he does or doesn't.

I dont think it would be beyond Hatton's ability to be competitive in MMA at this late stage in his career. Look at Marcus Davis. He didn't really get started in MMA until late in life, and has done pretty well for himself. I don't think Hatton will ever be able to reach the highest levels of the sport, but you never know. Doubt Hatton will ever make the move though.
