    Hell yeah! Hell no!

If this kind of behavior is what Kung Fu is about, you can count me out.

My wife and I just witnessed a Kung Fu 'Master' yelling at a woman in line at our local Publix. He was screaming obscenities at her, and the security guard had to come over to try to calm him down. He followed the woman outside and continued to shout at her, and finally stormed off in his car, honking the horn and flipping her off.

The reason I know he's a Kung Fu master, is because his car had stickers on it advertising his dojo, www.eagleclawatl.com. The man on this website, Joel Rodriguez, is the same person who was behaving like a bully towards a woman, in public view, and made a complete ass of himself. If this kind of behavior is what Kung Fu is about, you can count me out. He ought to be reprimanded for this public outburst, and certainly owes everyone who witnessed his rage a big apology!

So...should we mass e-mail him and tell him that his immature behavior shames 4000 years of martial arts?

Is this thread about gender bias? I'm curious because, you never said what caused the incident.?

If you say something stupid, male or female, your martial art or gender shouldn't matter.

Now, if he was harassing her unwarranted then yes, be mad. Then again, what he is or does has no bearing on his attitude.

Organizing a mass email? That would be harassment, no please don't...

Talking about this guy's school extensively on bullshido to draw internet traffic this way? perfectly legal, and probably more effective.

How do we know that the OP isn't a competitor of the "master" that allegedly bullied some woman, and is just spreading a lie here?

Just thought I'd bring it to the attention of his colleagues. I don't practice, and was hoping that anyone who knows him or his master might give him some words.

I don't think it really matters what was said to him, the way he was carrying on was completely immature, and not the type of behavior that I would expect a master of anything to exhibit, especially in front of so many people.

All I'm saying is that he gives the art a bad reputation, and should probably be reprimanded in some way, that is if anyone cares enough about the reputation of the art.
