This thread actually had potential before everybody started bashing on canadians...
I like to pull guard too... because I realize that if the fight is going to the ground I am definitely going to be in the bottom at first because I really REALLY suck at takedowns and throws. I am working on them though... I try to keep it standing but whenever I get taken down I either grab a guillotine choke ( o.0... obviously if they have their neck exposed thats what everyone does... ) Or I break the guys posture as fast as I can and drag them into rubber guard so I won't get hit when sparring with MMA rules. After that I try to advance in the rubber guard to chill dog or jew(lol)claw, or if they try to stand up and stack,or slam, I try to go for sweeps... Of course I try to keep them down in the first place. It sucks when you are up against really big guys though...
