    Why do they have people with reconstructed knees squat?

    With some attention to form, squats are potentially the best exercise you can do.

    If you aren't going to squat, you aren't serious about training.

    DO a search for Ian King and his twelve weeks of pain workouts. They look easy but can be brutal, and they're all body weight excercises.

    You can build a great home gym. All you need to do is just clear out some space in the garage.

    Power rack
    High\low pulley attachment
    Olympic 310 pound set
    Adjustable bench
    Jump rope
    Pullup\Dip station
    Ab wheel

    If you're looking for bodyweight exercises you should look around on a search engine. I remember seeing a real good push up work out somewhere.
