Mr. Stripe has some nice accuracy, but I can't help but think what a dork he'd look like had he missed.

But he didn't miss. Goddman I want to kiss that guy that video demonstrates somethng that is seemingly impossible to teach! the right angle for a hooking heel kick. On the flank at a hidden angle bringing the leg up natural and just locing it at the last second TEXTBOOK!!! TEXTBOOK!!!

True story I got Koed by that kick by my sensei years ago... I know big deal big deal... heres teh thing... aHe did the kick in slow motion and just locked it at the end at the same angle that guy did it and keya! I was out on my feet from a love tap. Why? for a couple of reasons I wonlt go into but that was the right way of doing a hooking heel, if he misses low percentage he is at the flank a nd can pull leg down into a stomp.

Interesting But lets all forget styles for a moment and say: that was the right way to do that kick. The angle it comes up at makes it so hard to detect. you do not see anything you just feel a rock in a sock against the insode of your eye socket or at the jawline.

    ????

Savate as in La Boxe Franšaise (French kickboxing).

The clip came from a Belgian Comedy/Prank show.

The kick gets his power purely from the accelaration.

Wait, what was the initial prank? The guy that got KO'ed just threw a net on some random French greaser.
