    Well since we're on the subject. I'm 5'8" and 145lbs. I only have one sparring partner who is 145lbs as well. The rest are 205, 225 and 267lbs.

    I find that kicks are the best way to keep them at bay and to set them up for a good amount of pummeling. But I am a hard trained kicker. Kicking is a great weapon that is highly misunderstood.
    This time it wasnt me, it was that other dude 2 posts before me.

    besides, most of the time i revive the thread, it grows at least another page or 2.

    I still contend kicking a bodybuilder in the leg is worse than kicking a skinny thai fighter. I've seen the results over and over again, I still have no idea why this is.

    I am a large bodybuilder type.

    My veins are closer to the surface of the skin, and my skin is thinner. Kicking me will cause me to bruise easier and I have less padding to protect me nerves. It hurts.

    But also being a large BB type guy, I have also learned to work through this.
