Machida, the reason is because in point sparring karate, he has experience fighting with other counter striker, regarding Anderson, we don't really know if he has any experience with another counter striker.

Machida in the third...or Anderson in the second. Lyota seems to have the ability to evade attacks. Silva has the ability to press the attack. The longet the fight goes the greater the odds for Machida.

Hasn't this been brought up before? I seem to recall people mentioning that Silva said that "The 205lb division is Machida's." due to the fact that not only that they're friends, but when they spar, Machida pwns him.

Does the "we" in this sentence encompass the other retards on your wing/floor/ward, or is this just the royal "we"?

I've heard the first part, but not the second. Where does he say Machida beats him in sparring all the time?

Machida by "flying elbow from the top of the cage", or Silva with a tap out from a "boston crab".

seriously, i just want to see it happen. heck, i would plop down $100 bucks to sit ringside with a bucket of popcorn just to watch them spar!

If this happened, it would indeed be the fight of the decade - Machida is insanely slick and fast on his feet and Silva has extremely good standup defense for a MMA fighter. I believe Machida would land more consistent hits but would be unable to end Silva. Machida by decision.

I remember an interview with Silva saying Machida "usually gets the better of him" in sparring. That's hardly the same as being "pwned", but you know how stories grow via word of mouth (and God knows I've managed to lose to people in competition that I do "pwn" in sparring/randori).
