So, what's the majority opinion on Warren? It seemed to me like he tapped at first, so I think it was a good stoppage. Also, his arm was going to be destroyed badly if he didn't. Also, good old Minowaman, coming through with a win again. Also, who else is looking forward to Kawajiri vs. Aoki?

Sweet armbar of Bibiano Fernandes on Warren..and yes he tapped, don't know why the drama and uproar on his side...don't understand why Bibiano was fliping the bird left and right while exiting the ring "Forrest style".

Oh and I'm gonna sound like a douchebag, but I now dislike Aoki's caracter...way to arrogant for my taste. One of the best grapplers in mma, but I was hoping that Hansen would cave his face in like he did laste time.

    Sakuraba, quit already, please!

Minowanman victory was like watching Minotauro subbing Sapp...except there are no brazilians and blacks in this fight...and Hong is a mutant...and puroresu for the win?

"Hansen is a B.A.M. and I wish him well, but I think Aoki has this. Damn what I would give to see Aoki vs. Penn."
    -sashimi_style

"Whoever wrote that is a fucking moron who has never watched Hansen fight."
    -PointyShinyBum

I watched that Hansen fight (and a few others) and he's still not on Aoki's level. Hansen is a great fighter, but he is the same kind of great fighter that people are used to seeing and training for. Aoki, however, presents unique challenges that can't be duplicated in training, and he is a master of his style.

B.J. Penn, by comparison, has a far more balanced attack than Aoki's largely one dimensional, yet effective, grappling game. Aoki has succumbed to strikes in the past, but he has also shown tremendous success in smothering strikers in the clinch and taking them down or jumping to the guard or the back while standing. A match between Aoki and Penn could very well end up on the ground in a battle of two of the most skilled and versatile grapplers in any weight class of MMA. Who else is prepared for Aoki's supernatural flexibility, if not Penn with his own?

Aoki Shinya is one of the truly great fighters of this generation. B.J. Penn is one of the few who share that honor with him. Santa Claus, I hope your reading.

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

Sakuraba's "Neon Genesis Evangelion"-inspired intro/ring entrance was... interesting.

I would, except I was referring to the Sherdog article in the OP of that thread rather than your post...
