I'm not sure if I necessarily agree with you. Both of them are mainly counter-punchers, and we've seen that Anderson doesn't really like to engage anymore, especially in the Leites fight. Also, seeing as how they're both friends, I could see them putting on a half-hearted fight. Overall, I'm not sure if it would be the most exciting. It would probably be a very interesting fight, but it could be a snoozefest.

Well, with Belfort working his Shotokan down with Machida, the upcoming title match might be the best we get.
For what it's worth, I think Anderson has a better clinch game, which is where I think he should take the fight. Machida's good, but I've yet to see him really get tested in the plum or against high caliber wrestlers outside of Tito, who was unable to close the distance until the last round, where he sunk in a super tight triangle. Anderson should have the skills to break Machida's range, clinch up, and win the fight there. -

It probably would be a half hearted fight,i know there friends..And sparr together,so it would indeed be one of the greats if they looked past there friendship,Silva is dangerous enough..Imagine if he was one of your sparring partners, then you had to face him....If i was lyoto,im not so sure this would be too smart.I would have to go with Silva on this one..
