Now, it is true that Ortiz was able to almost choke Machida, but you gotta remember, BEFORE that Ortiz couldn't do ANYTHING. He didn't land a single punch, kick, elbow, knee.............nothing. First fight I had seen where someone couldn't even hit a guy once.

Also you have to think how many people have landed a decent hit on Machida? Tito was never known for his stand up.

Forest is a MUCH harder prospect for Tito (especially after his last loss) this is a must win match for both fighters.

Now that the cat is out I can say when I was told about Forrest fighting Tito I was really excited. Forrest is just a tough SOB and loves fighting.

Regardless of his last fight he is still a gamer and we all love to see him fight. Fact of the matter is I think that the US may be coming around just wanting to see 2 exciting guys fight each other. The standings and the belt talk are all good but just having two guys fight because they love it is much better. These usually give the better fights any way.

I have a feeling Forrest is gonna be a lot more careful after his recent ass whooping. I love him, but sometimes there's a difference between aggressive and recklessness.
