He got bitch-kicked in the ear and cried.

Other than that, impressive as always.

I am convinced that the Minowa fight was a work.

You know, people complain about fighters getting help from the refs a lot, but in Aoki/Hansen the ref literally picked up Hansen's leg and held it in the air while Aoki switched from a single to a double. That's taking things to an entirely new level of shady.

Glad I wasn't the only one shouting at the screen.

That said the submission was smooth as **** and you've got to credit Aoki for putting Hansen away in the dying seconds, even if it did make me sob onto my keyboard.

I can't believe Shinya did that! Oh wait, he didn't.

Look, it was a bad situation. Hansen's leg was between the ropes. Couldn't leave it there because (so I heard) it is against the rules and would be an unfair advantage to Hansen. The ref picked it up to move it and it became an unfair advantage to Aoki. *shrug* I'm no ref, but maybe he should have stopped the action, extricated the leg and restarted.

It was ridiculous that the ref didn't stop the action to move his leg, it was ridiculous that Aoki immediately went for the double while the ref was holding his leg in the air, and it was ridiculous that the ref didn't restart them.

What's ridiculous is that they still fight in a ring...
