    Hell yeah! Hell no!

So I just took my first MMA class...

    ...

God damnit. No wonder why you guys do this ****; It's like everything I liked from Kyokushin and Matsuno-ryu Jujitsu minus everything I thought was bullshit, all rolled into one. Couple this with the fact that I learned more about grappling, with the same level of comprehension, in an hour than I did in five fucking months of jujitsu, and I am going to be giving myself very stern looks in the mirror for being so much of a fucking ***** that I didn't start this sooner for a long, long while.

I'm still not going to wear a fucking TapouT shirt, though.

In two or so months I'll get one of my typical long ass reviews up for the school, though the short and simple of it will probably be that the Sixth Street Gym is totally bradical.

P.S. oh god my ribs are going to hurt tomorrow

    Hooray!

I totally feel you on the A) kicking yourself, B) loving it, and C) wanting to buy a pink rashguard just to avoid being one of the trying-too-hard masculine-colors-only, black-and-blue-overload, red-gi-with-growling-animals MMA fashionistas.

Congrats......Truly is an eye-opening experience the "first" time, only problem is that it never gets easier if you want to keep getting better.......

Take 1point2's advice on the rashguard, I much prefer more femine coloured gi's tho.......

For all my faults and weaknesses, I am a beast which thrives in adversity; I haven't been happy with my training since... christ, a year ago(which was the last time I took Kyokushin before moving halfway across the planet), and I'm going to keep chasing the delicious misery I've come to associate with good training. If that means four hours a day, so be it.

I'm a big fan of safety orange, myself. It's not quite the stiff jab to the face of conformity that is pink, but it is visually offensive and one of the rarer colors for clothing. Plus, another guy wears pink shorts, and no rashguard or gi could ever top that.

Also, yay tits! Every thread is better with tits, and better still with discussion about beer. Beer and tits, however, is the greatest.

MMA training rocks. And if Judo Gene Lebel, the toughest man on Earth can wear a pink gi, what's stopping you?

If you do get a safety orange rashguard, then you must also draw some whiskers on your face using a sharpie, and shouting "Believe it!" whenever the situation calls for it.

I am ashamed to actually know what you are referencing.

Also, I don't even do a MA that requires a gi, but sainthamish's picture has convinced me to buy one anyway.
