'Actually, KTK you should like this, the last time I was tempted to try a full nelson was at work. I used to wait tables at this place in San Francisco and towards the end of the night this bodybuilder type so big I couldn't have clasped my hands behind his neck if he was co-operating...he and this slightly shady type about 6'2" start getting into it at the bar when we were trying to close up. The manager was hiding in the back and the rest of the staff weren'y sure what to do. I walked up behind the shorter more muscular guy (they had both been drinking). I reached up from behind on the left and turned his head around in a spiral up and to the left ( a little assistance from my other hand on his right shoulder.) He started to turn around in response and Icontinued the spiral now sweeping downwards but still to the left. I dumped him. But then I set him down gently and switched my grip as he was falling so that I had his wrist and pulled up breaking his fall while asking him, "Hey ther buddy! Ar you all right?" And I helped him to his feet. He actually thanked me! ha ha ha. Smoothest takedown I ever did."

    That's gorgeous....nice space change.

    a little pirouette....lol

    Okay heres another one.
How would you break out of a "Bear Hug" with both of your arms pinned.
(Please dont mention stomp em in the foot or bend over and grab his ankle and pull up on his leg.) I'm hopping to hear about some new techniques that I dont know about.

First of all, hook his damn legs before you get suplexed.

Next, the standard traditional response, dropping into a deep horse, elbows down hands up will work IF you modify it a bit. You need to add a bit of diagonal movement. One arm moving up a bit while the other moves down. If he really know how to grab though, YOU REALLY NEED TO HOOK ONE OF HIS LEGS to buy a little time.

Oh yeah, and add a little twist, as you drop you should simultaneously try to turn around as if to elbow him in the face. You won't actually be able to elbow, I'm just trying to describe a fairly complicated combination of drop, lift, twist, hook.

how would u bein the full nelson in the first place? if someoen can put it on you, you're done unless ur lucky, like u muscle out of it, or ur ALREADY tri-podding (ur like a 3 legged table, legs of this table being ur two legs and ur head) which is probably not going to be the situation.

its hard. if ure wobbly, jittery, and dynamic, he'l get at most a half nelson. full is hard to do if ur standing up and you are dynamic.

about the suplex...now that's going too far. thats impossible-inreal-lifeWWE stuff. if, and IF, you get in to a full nelson, you should watch out for falling FOWARD, not backwards. u can get ur face smashed in.
