I've always been a fan of watching him fight, he may not always be the most technical of guys but there's still something special about how he fights.

This gives me a different sort of respect for him:

I think it's pretty awesome that the guy I would most be afraid of meeting in a dark alley somewhere by how he fights is the nicest, most down to earth genuine happy person.

We should realize how lucky as fans we are to see him

Lately I've been watching his videos on youtube and I must say that he looks like a pretty cool guy, when it comes to the way that he treats his students and fighters. Sure he's probably making some cheddar out of this, probably as a manager or teacher, but buying two houses in front of him for out of town fighters( or even out of country) to crash and live...now that's cool! Of course it helps the fact that I speakl portuguese, because a lot of things get lost in translation.

I'm surprised he continued fighting after getting jipped in his first fight. He just loves his job.

I'm hearing that he may be fighting Akiyama on UFC 108.

If he doesn't completely botch the weight cut Akiyama may actually die.

Hey, I know Wand is popular, but let's not count Akiyama out of the running just yet. Dude can bang, and has a solid clinch game to counter the plum. He's been in heated fights before (although no one at Wand's level of aggressiveness), and I think he's handled it pretty well before.
