What his major problem is that in the backyard fights he was fighting flabby 300 pound truckers. No he is fighting guys who could fight and he does not have the skill...

I have to admit, you have me laughing there!

I agree with all of this. Maybe that's the issue that Bas and Kimbo parted ways over.

Is Nelson so good that Kimbo and Arlovski both forgot how to defend themselves? I mean AA has some serious grappling. Maybe Kimbo is better than he looked on the show, but Nelson has an indefensible queso gutame? I mean kesa gatame.

People say this and I have no idea why.

That should pretty much tell you all you need to know.
Does the TUF show assign each coach with their assistants or does the coach bring them in themselves?

They're the coach's pick; that's why Rashad has guys from Jackson's and why Forrest had his main MT and grappling coaches.

    Thanks.
That's what I thought but couldn't understand Rampage's reaction to his grappling assistant wanting to keep drilling Kimbo.

I guess that sounds like Arlovski's a submission specialist. Not what I meant.

Wiki says his record is 15-7. 3 W by submission, 12 by TKO/KO, and no losses by submission. He knows enough about grappling to come out standing in a scramble and stuff a takedown. He can wrestle / stay on top well enough to G&P. And he can defend himself reasonably well on the ground, and generally control where the fight takes place. I consider that serious grappling, but I didn't mean to lump him in with Demian Maia with regards to grappling/submission skills.

You misunderstand, I don't even understand this perception.

Which is extremely meaningful when you consider all the great submission fighters he's faced, like
    Undisputed KING OF ASSHOLES.
