Kimbo Fights! The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights - Episode 3

I'm not giving him much of a chance, but if he somehow beats Nelson it'll create a hell of a shitstorm, no doubt.

The best thing I can say about that fight is that at least both guys weren't gasping for air with their hands on their hips at any point.

I bet in the promo for every week there's going to be a speculation for a Kimbo comeback.

Yeah Marcus surprised the hell out of me. I'm hoping he goes far now. Represent us sensitive guys well Marcus! Now if you'll excuse me, I have some poetry to write.

I was pretty underimpressed with both principals.

Why? He obviously played it safe. But he used his strength and Kimbo's weakness. He didn't try to bang, used striking to set up the clinch. The Outside trip in the end of the first round was solid. He drove the clinch through Kimbo's punches the second round. In fact Kimbo's grappling inexperience showed with trying to knee as he was being driven back (can't defend takedown on one leg). Roy's GnP wasn't devastating, but Kimbo stopped bucking and trying to get free.

It wasn't a fight that will be used in highlight reel, but Roy showed his experience and a good game plan.
