Kelly Johnson and his ripping on Eddie Bravo at ADCC

So, while watching the ADCC championship last weekend on Saturday, I couldn't help but notice the useless commentary spat out on the live stream that we bought over the internet.

The broadcasters were mostly quiet, but every now and then, one of them, whom I believe was Kelly Johnson, would pipe up about his fantastic wrestling credentials, and would say something kind of asinine.

What DID catch my attention though, was at the end of the first day of broadcasting, during the Jacare superfight, he began to trash Eddie Bravo when Drysdale started using an ineffective rubber guard. Now, I'm no Bravo fan (full disclosure, I think a lot of his stuff is kind of impractical, especially for those who aren't super flexible in the adductors), but this guy, whom I've never heard of, started quipping saying things like "rubber guard, more like rubber garbage...", and then "I think Eddie Bravo just got lucky one time, and then named it something...". There were a few other comments that were harsh, with a modicum of truth to them.

The real issue I have is this: WHO THE **** IS KELLY JOHNSON?!?! I mean, it's one thing if there is some established black belt laying out a reasoned critique of Bravo's guard system, but this guy just sounded like a blue belt regurgitating something his instructor said. Did anyone else hear this? Oh, and did anyone else fucking catch him at the end ramble for about 10 minutes about how he wanted a big mac with pickles onions tomatoes, catsup, with a shake and a sala... I MEAN WHAT THE **** ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT WHO ARE YOU!!??!?!?!

Where can I get a copy of the ADCC stream? How long does it take before they usualy release them on DVD for sale?

I dunno but the camera work was fucking awful. We all went to a friend's house who had bought the stream for 20 bucks, and they would cut back and forth so much we were all yelling at the screen. My guess is they are going to cut that comment and the burger thing out of the final DVD.

The Kron Gracie Marcelo Garcia Match is fucking epic. So is Vinny Magalhaes' match with Marcio Cruz.
