    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Dear Instructors, how do you deal with ticks ?

This question is mostly addressed to instructors however everyone is welcome to pitch in their 2 cents.

What i am concerned about is people from other styles who cross over into yours, assuming they have been going at it for quite a while they develop certain ticks or habits.

How do you as an instructor deal with them ?, or do you at all ?
what were the worst ticks you have seen, it can be story tiem plz ?

Don't sleep with dogs. Found that out the hard way.

Edit: Read the thread. My point is irrelevant, but intriguingly disgusting. I'm gonna leave it that way.

If it a good habits that works, I leave it alone and let them work it into what they are learning. If its a bad habit I'll take advantage of it in randori and remind them to stop doing it.

some bad habits are hard to break, the "new" student has to be willing to learn it, if not, as was mentioned, use it against them till they do.
