    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Vitor Belfort vs Anderson Silva UFC 108?

    According to MMAJunkie:

"UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva (25-4 MMA, 10-0 UFC) will likely make his next title defense on Jan. 2 when he meets Vitor Belfort (19-8 MMA, 8-4 UFC) in the main event of UFC 108.

The Los Angeles Times first reported the matchup and cited UFC president Dana White as confirming the news."

Unsigned but in process of contract negotiation.....allegedly. Could be interesting. You just never know with Vitor if he turns up in shape and ready to bang. Anything could happen.

Theres so many variables......but yet so few differences.....

This'll be Machida v. Shogun all over again, but with the kiais on the other side of the counterpunching.

Belfort will do as he always does - fail to live up to expectations when it REALLY matter and he has a shot at legend status.

I expect Silva to walk over him. I'd like for Belfort to win, however: All this Silva dominance is getting old.

Agreed, and this whole Machida/Silva not fighting because there "friends" is Bullshit. Honestly i wanna see Belfort win over Silva for this particular reason.

I think if anyone is going to beat silva it has to be with insane wrestling or a punchers chance. Vitor has the ultimate "punchers chance" so it could go via a KO in his favour.

Still see Silva winning though. In fact by some margin.

Henderson got the closest to beating Silva in his UFC career - for a lot of the 1st, he had him down in a dominant position and it Silva couldn't find a way out. If the bell hadn't run, Silva might have been in real trouble.

I agree that it would take a strong wrestler with good ground control to beat Silva as he really isn't all that good at wrestling.

Travis Lutter had him mounted, and he was exhausted.
