    Self defence fail

Ok I have no idea what this video is about and this is probably a low content thread, but this must be seen!

YouTube - Self Defense - Merci Yuki KDN

What was this about? What language was that?

I was a little shocked. Sure, he changed sides quickly, but I guess even a dog can realize it has more in common with the wolf than with the shephard.

I give him the names of some BJJ schools in the area, and we go our separate ways.

True, oh how true. How many RBSD vids have been shown here that beg the question, "Yeah, but what if a big guy just punches you really hard?" You sir, have delivered.

There are some questions that mankind will just never answer.

Who bends down to block a low kick?

They were far to skinny to be Systema guys.

As far as I'm concerned, this self-defense training video was a brilliant success. That Gestapo dude in military dress was throwing slow-motion attacks to attempt to confuse, bewilder, and eventually capture our hero in the black jacket and red shirt. The red shirt guy flawlessly demonstrated the self defense method of punching hard at full speed at secret vulnerable areas, such as the face. Bravo!

Beautiful. Reminds me of when I demonstrated a front kick to my brother by kicking him full force to the nuts. Accidentally, though.

And to think I nearly clicked away before the punchline -- though in retrospect the giggling cameraman did foreshadow things to come.

That's one ugly language. It sounds a bit like Borat's Kazahkstani.

Systema instructors take note: this could happen to you if your "student" doesn't believe the scam and you aren't surrounded by devoted acolytes.

No, no, no...you have it backwards!
The man in red (our hero) was luring the camo guy into a false sense of security by throwing slow, inaccurate attacks. When he saw the proper opening, he defended himself! Classic possum!

Nice! My kid and I both LOL'd at this one. We are both veterans of way too many compliant uke drills.
