Unfortunately I have to agree with Team Rashad's coaches that Nelson loks like he just wants to train himself, so it probably wouldn't be any different.

I like everything about Nelson but his nickname. How about Roy "Seven-Layer Cake" Nelson?

The gas tank on these guys is simply aweful. And for next week, I find myself pulling for Kimbo for some reason, though I think Roy will submit him in the second.

Wow. Knowing that, I should probably put money on this fight.

The thing is that the coaches also expect him to be cognizant of the level of his training partners. They completely understand that he's at a much different level than most of those guys.

As for the AA fight, he should have replied "Did you see the fight? I was about to beat AA until that bullshit Elite standup." or, "yeah I got knocked out by a eurotrash schmuck who used to be the UFC HW champ, but you got knocked out by a guy who drinks his own piss."

Watched the show last night and thought it was blah again. Didn't really understand the decision, but that's not the first time I've had that issue. Anyway, so I recorded it, and tried watching it again today. Couldn't get past 10 minutes without turning it off. I'll watch next week just to see how Kimbo does, but after that I seriously doubt I'll be watching until the series finale.

I had an interesting experience: I tried to explain to my wife who the fighters were. Basically I broke it down as 13 guys who ranged from guys with no pro experience at all to pretty good young guys, plus Wes Sims (recently homeless "wild man" there to instigate drama) plus Kimbo Slice (internet-famous porn enforcer Dana White wanted to sign, not really an MMA prospect but famous in his way) and Roy Nelson (guy who fights guys who've won in the UFC, and probably shouldn't be on the show with the beginners.)

By the time I got to Kimbo, she was fast asleep. Is that a bad sign for this season? I dunno.

Not unless your wife is the target demographic. :read:

If Big Country loses to Kimbo I'm going gay.
