Now you're a man, a man man man. I don't really know how you are and train, but your mentality will change a little. Not to mention there's no more cheating yourself on conditioning. How'd your stamina hold up compared to your opponents?
And yea, I understand what you mean about talking. ****, when I get out of the gym, I can kinda talk but I sound like an idiot.

Wait, I actually know a little something about this
Aight cracka, turning to the side feels safe, but its not, yo. You're gonna get thrown, and being thrown makes you look like a silly little bitch.
Its better to NOT let him get 'superior' clinching position in the first place, and fight like hell to BREAK his clinch and get your own 'superior' position. (I mean, having the "plum", with your arms inside of his == superior. Anything else is Inferior/Neutral.)
Also, avoid being stationary with the clinch. Jerk that homeboy around, and plant knees as you do it. Don't just clinch knee knee knee oh look he's out.
and set up your hands with your feet/kicks, your clinch with your hands, etc.

Everybody, stop what you're doing and listen to the child BJJ/judo student give advice on the clinch as it relates to striking. It's, like, really deep.
Nice work, Octopus Kung Fu Master. Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Keep us updated on your clinch progress. I'm feeling you on the grunting. I revert to contorted facial expressions when I'm in a match. What a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without ever seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable. -Xenophon's Socrates

Seriously bro, shut the **** up. You're a SHITTY judoka with almost 0 competition experience.
I would drill you into the mat, choke you until you tapped, and then pleasured myself from mount, right onto your face.
And there is NOTHING you could do about it :)

Seriously though guys, lets all sit back and listen to a Mcdojo blackbelt and the world's worst Judo Green belt.

You made green belt Moose?"Boxing is the art of hitting an opponent from the furthest distance away, exposing the least amount of your body while getting into position to punch with maximum leverage and not getting hit."

I don't train Judo anymore.
My takedowns, however, are good, and I can hang in randori with green/brown belts.

Re: My clinch game, it wasn't that I didn't know what to do (my coach has told me that I have a pretty decent clinch), it's that I panicked and it all flew out the window. Which, as I understand, is a pretty common phenomenon when people enter their first fight.
Next fight, I suspect, I'll have substantially less nerves, and I'll make less goofy mistakes/get thrown every which way.
