Our first commercial
Guys, here is our first commercial. Many thanks to Matthew Hickney (Director/Producer of award-winning "Walking Into The Cage") for his work on this spot, as well as to all the fighters who worked with Matthew on the footage for the film.

Please let me know what you think. I asked Phrost for permission to post this here and he said it was OK :).
Thanks to you guys as well for your continued support. Our support of Bullshido will continue as well, for as long as we're welcomed.
Cool Nick... now what are you going to DO with it ;)
I like it. Hey are you guys gonna put the Bullshido.net fight shorts back on your page so I can buy some or what?
Thanks for the feedback. Lionknight, I plan to spread this to the masses - still working on delivery mechanisms. We have a youtube channel and it will be advertised on multiple MMA websites, as well as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc. Don't be surprised if you see it on Bullshido's front page next month :).
Reg. Shorts: I talked to Neal about doing a different version. Stay tuned - we should have something out about that shortly.
I love "You may win but you can't beat me".
I like the direction you are taking the marketing in. Should be a good move.
It's really interesting you say that. I had a "moment of clarity", so to speak, when I first watched Walking Into The Cage. The movie really got to me. It made me realize that even though we're growing so much, I want to keep the company totally grass-roots and support the sport at a different level than the direction we were going in.

From that, we're also taking a different mission in fighter sponsorships. A lot more money will begin to shift to entire schools vs. superstar fighters, as well as up and comers who really need the support. There will be another announcement around that sometime next week, including our new charitable foundation and some other things we're doing.
I feel good about where we're going as a company. We've always wanted to do things differently, in a good way, and I'm glad the message is catching on.
looks good, and doesnt try hard at being hardcore with a bunch of people acting like douchey frat boys saying its all about beating your face up.
although it does look quite similar to
YouTube - Traning Day MMA Commercial
black and white setting, training montage, fighters talking to you, etc etc.
here, next time try something like this:
YouTube - Nike: The Next Level
but for MMA, and please keep it coloured, black and white is kinda cliche

I still don't like the name, but that's a pretty solid advert.
Nike has some obscenely good marketing.

Even if you don't do the fancy switching, an ad similar in concept would be great. Guy is losing, losing, losing, eating leg kicks, covering up, gets slammed and/or shoved against the cage. Couple deep breaths, moment of clarity, and the flow reverses, marching all the way back across the cage in a ballet of redemptive violence.
ditto. that line is priceless.
