    what orginization is he under
He's not. He's at the top of his org, which would be Loyd Irvin Martial Arts Association. For the most part, he's not out there promoting three year black belts. If you can win and keep winning, in international competition, as you go through the ranks, in a kimono, then sure, you can get it in a few years. For mere mortals, it will take much, much longer.

    Yeah. I wasn't gong-sauing him or anything...

Come by and see if you get a McDojo feel in-person.

Internet marketing and the atmosphere and business practices of the school in person are two totally different things.

It really does look like a normal BJJ class, only with more top competitors than usual. No shenanigans at all.

That's actually kind of cool to know, thanks RM. I'd always had the impression due to his marketing, that it was a money factory etc. I mean I don't think anyone doubts his skills etc. But it's good to know that 'in school' it's not like it seems 'in email spam'.

Idiotic McDojo-y internet marketing should still have the spotlight of Bullshido.net blazed upon it, and be shamed.

Producing good competitors and fighters does not entitle a school to put out "3 year BJJ black belt" emails/fliers/planes with signs flying behind them above beaches.

For the 1000th time McDojo != Bullshido

Omega runs a McDojo. McDojos are about making money with advertising. McDojos can and sometimes do produce badass martial artists.

Bullshido is bullshit claims and techniques. Driving your nose bone into your brain is bullshido. Claiming you are 10th Dan in your own jujutsu system after taking 2 years of Judo and reading about Ninjas is Bullshido.
