Bay Area Schools Muay Thai/Krav Maga

Heya, I wanted to learn either Muay Thai or Krav Maga in the Bay Area near Sunnyvale and was having trouble finding schools aside from Yelp.

What's making it hard to find one for me is I'm typically only available from 7 pm onward.

I know most people would recommend Fairtex, the problem I'm having with them is I'd only be able to make it to their Mountain View school and the only class I'd ever have time for would be Muay Thai basics from 7:30 to 8:30.

I'd be afraid that after the basics I wouldn't be able to progress very much, due to my schedule constraints.

Can anyone recommend me some good Muay Thai or Krav Maga schools aside from Fairtex? I think I'm not good at tracking different schools down. Thank you.

Nice plug steve, but that's like an hour each way from the OP.

OP: There's an American Kickboxing Academy gym in Sunnyvale, and Cung Le's school is in Milpitas, as is Rudi Ott's Kickboxing Unlimited.

Sunnyvale is how far from Daly City? IDK, but Darren's school is there and I love the place, I'd drop what I was doing but its too far for me.

Steve is the quintessiental New Yorker: he figures you can hop on the subway/catch a cab to where-ever. I've heard good stuff about Ott's joint...Me? I'd be getting to Palo Alto for some real Judo!

In Oakland, has muay thai class from 5-6 and sparring afterward. Nice facilities, plenty of fighters. Been training there for 4 years =)

Sunnyvale is pretty close to San Jose.

Daly City and Oakland are too far for me, but I appreciate the suggestions.

An hour away...awww. It takes me an hour to get to my club from Queens to Manhattan. I don't now cali geography. Is'nt Oakland considered Bay Area?

definitely, but Sunnyvale=Bay Area? WTF? the world has gone to hell...

its all a matter of perspective. I am a New yorker living in san francisco and sunnyvale and san jose are not the bay area so much silicon valley. The travel distances would not be considered bad in Southern Kali (from bay area to silicon valley) but here they are a bit much.

STeve Queens to manhattan is not bad... Unless you are way out towards the island.
