UpaLumpa is correct. Target and Walmart are excellent for rashguards.

I bought a rashie (skins) from some sport specialist store under the misguided notion that a sporting goods store would be the only ones who would stock such an item. **** I was pissed when I went into Target and found them cheaper by half.

I have 2 rashguards from Target that I've been training regularly in for 2 years. So yes, they're perfectly good. Also, if the 5'10'' woman really can wear men's sizes check out ruptures stuff. Their rashguards are $30. I love them. http://www.ruptureclothing.com

I got a PM from them a few weeks back about women's rash guards in the future. I don't know when they are coming out though. I have two Rupture Rashies myself. I love them.

Chances are they could get away with just wearing a size S male rash guard. My girlfriend's just under 5'1" and gets away with it. There are a couple of other girls out my club a bit taller that also just wear a size S. Unless they really want a pink one or something it might be worth a try.

Do you know of any brands that sell in small size. Most of the ones I've found only go down to medium (e.g. - Rapture). They also want the long sleeves ones.

Lol, I don't think they want pink ones. Does she have issues have to roll up the sleeves because they are too long?

You guys do know, I hope, that rash guards really don't do anything to prevent the transmission of any sort of skin infection; right?

Worrying about anything other than fit and possibly longevity means you're paying too much. The best "rash guard" I have is one I bought at target a couple of years ago and wear at least twice a week (if it is clean it is the only one I'll wear all week).

They do a small amount to prevent the transmission of some infections by reducing the amount of abrasions you get. But yes, other than that they are just to keep me from having to rub myself all over sweaty men while grappling.

Caged Steel, Warrior, and Koral all do rash guards in small. I think most do, its more to do with what the supplier has in stock I think. My gf has a long sleeve one and has no problem with having to roll up the sleeves, they just cling as you'd expect.

That's pretty much why they want one. That and they don't want their bras or shirts getting ripped off when they roll no Gi. THanks Liam for the reply btw.
