    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Has anyone found women's rashguards for BJJ/MMA for less than $45?

I have three women fighters at my gym looking for them. Two of them are small (5'3'' 115 lbs & 5'4' 125 lbs') and I think the other could probably fit in a men's size because she is 5'10''. They are all very fit. I've looked everywhere for cheaper guards but the cheapest ones I found was Koral for around $48. I was hoping I could find something near the price that Rapture has for their men's guards ($30-$35 range).

Anyone have any luck finding any? As a sidenote, when I got my wife a rash guard I went to fightergirls because it was the only brand I could find that sold an extra small.

I know you can find surfer rashguards for cheaper, but I'm not sure how they compare to one made for BJJ/MMA.

I have a friend who says he's found generic grappling rashguards for cheap at wal-mart. If that doesn't work, I've used my surfing rashguard for grappling, and its never been a problem. Its less comfortable, because they are meant to keep you warm, while grappling rashguards keep you cool, but if you can deal with that, its fine.

Thanks I'll let them know. Is there a size chart for them? Interesting...I'll let them know about the cool vs. heat deal as well.

Found one for $30 sweet. piranhagear.com

Not stylish like the other ones, but it's designed for women.

I'd recommend Piranha Gear. Their stuff isn't flashy, and it's not expensive, but it holds up well.

Big-5 Sporting Goods too, they go on sale for $15 for long sleeves, $10 for short. Usually Everlast or Wilson. They're NOT thick, but I've had 5 hold up for a couple of years. My Lockflow one is much thicker/stronger but I think it ran $30?

Tell them it is impossible to find rashguards for women no matter what the cost, then offer oil to "prevent chafing". Sit back, enjoy.
