Thinking about the things read about JCVD over the past couple of decades.
Anyone remember anything about him injuring a stuntman on the set of a movie with a knife to the eye?
Word was that his championship claims could not be substantiated.
Not putting the dis to him, but word was way back that his claims of martial arts prowess were inflated.
Anyone?
Aside:
Chuck would still kick ass on most of those here in short manner.

Chuck was definitely NOT a BJJ black belt when they were filming Texas Ranger. I caught only a few glimpses of that disaster, and his ground fighting was outright silly. He did make a point of using an armbar one time, but it was totally unconvincing.
I do hope he's better now, but quite honestly his movies have not aged well. He will go down in history as "that total gym guy" more than an action hero or a point fighter. -
