Yeah, saw that on Sherdog earlier today. People pretty quickly divided into two camps (with a few exceptions): 1) it's legal, therefore it's fine, even if it was cheap; and 2) it's bad sportsmanship, let's give him hell! I guess I lean towards the second category. There's something to be said for "protect yourself at all times," but this guy pretended like he was going to touch gloves, he came out with his left hand clearly raised, and then basically sucker punched his opponent with his right. If he wanted to go right at it, then he just should have done that.

Wow, this is .... wow
if that guy came out and took a swing then i would call that a cheap shot but still say the guy who wanted to touch gloves should have been more careful
but this .... to touch gloves intentionally to sucker punch someone as a strategy .... this is completely unsportsmanlike at all, i know it falls within legal rules, but that shouldnt go unpunished completely. -

You can't really claim you won on ability if you do that, which is pretty much the idea of the sport. If your fan base are a bunch of assholes who cheer when you blindside people, well there you go. Ghetto mentality. I guess if I run him over with a car in the parking lot after the fight, then I'm a badass too!

2) That it does work"
