Five being a pro combat-athlete?Originally posted by JackHanma
Sachet, on a scale of zero to five (zero being Homer Simpson, five being a pro combat-athlete) what is your activity level? What are your goals? General weight loss, a running a marathon, or a boxing match? Based on the activity scale and your specific goals you can determine how much food you need and what kind of food is best. It will involve some math though.
Now for something completely different: Check it out, I'm a lightweight now!
um.. I'd say 4ish?
Here's an outline of a typical day~
Wake up 5:15 masturbate :D what can I say? I'm celebate til my education's done and my erotic dreams must be at the end of my dream cycle *lol*
Run out to the barn, feed the horses
Run back in, breakfast, quickie shower
In & out of work and my car all day til 10pm. I'd say 75% of my day is on my feet.
During the week, I strength train 2 times a week {build bone density & skeletal muscle}
Cardio almost every day. I love to run, it's a form of meditation for me.
Depending on the season, I help with rec sports.
I'm an avid horsebackrider and fit in riding wheneva I can during the week and most of the weekend is spent either riding or on poop patrol with a wheelbarrow & fork.
I also do alot of hiking.
I run errands during the weekends too.
My ultimate goal would to hit about 125lbs and stay there.
Right now I'm 117lbs and I consume approximately 2000 calories a day.
But, there are some days that I either forget or I don't have time to eat all my meals. Seems to be a problem for alot of us here.. -

Level Four. Ok, you should eat about 100-125 grams of protien and up to 160g of carbs a day. Soy Protein works well for weight gain. But you also be eating fish and turkey.
Your carb sources should be mostly Fruits and Veggies. Eats lots of green leafy veggies (as much as you want).Add spinach to your salads. If you have legume (except for the soy protein supplement) and grain products limit them to 3-4 servings a day. Use whole grain variety of grain products.
Your protein intake is to low for your activiy level. Use the protein shakes for extra protein between meals so you get within you your protein range if your regular meals don't end up with enough protein. In short, use it as a supplement!
If you use fat for cooking use canola or olive oil. But don't overdo the oils! No Butter! Cut back on salt.
Well, that does it for now. If you are still having trouble then I'll tell you about phase two. -

Well, the problem is: I can't eat 6 meals a day. No time for that. I can't go to a meeting and tell the customers that I'm sorry but I need to finish my 3rd meal ;)
Day:
30 mins of low power workout (wand-sand-bag and forms)
2 Cups of cereal
1 glass of milk
1 glass of orange juice
1 slice of bread with honey
during the daytime too much coffee I confess and too many cigarettes...whatever.
Snacks: chocolate and whatever comes my way
Lunch: 4 slices of bread, salat and cheese
Training (evening): 1 1/2 to 3 hours of Wing Tsun, lots of mineral water
Dinner: mainly Pasta with different sauces, sometimes Gulasch or Steak... a yoghurt after that and a glass of milk.
Usually I take a walk after that, coming to terms with how the day went.
And in front of the TV: lots of alcohol as you all have guessed :D
I'm 6'1" (if that swiss website with the meter -> feet calculator is right) and weigh 80 kg...
That's it folks,,,,"Organized like a team, fighting like a family"
