How has martial arts helped you dance?

Sounds like we have a have a few decent dancers amoung us. Choke i wouldn't say girls do all the work it's just they have a lot more confidence than men do and they genrally have a great natural abbillity at dancing and things of a simuliar nature.

I meant in salsa dancing the girls tend to move around more... a more extreme example of that is booty dancing. Which ownz by the way.

I use rooting.
To put this into perspective, I go to rock clubs. When I get sufficiently drunk I start dancing in an embarrasing way that probably reminds people of the parents at weddings. I also hate mosh pits. Anyone who tries to slam into me for any reason looks surprised when they bounce. Anyone who keeps trying tends to end up on the floor. See... Aikido is good for some things.

One of the best fighters and instructors I have ever known had to close his martial arts school and open up a dance studio. Seriously. I didn't know where he went or what he was doing until my girlfriend and I took Swing dance lessons from him.
