    Description:

The Ultimate Fighting Championship® presents the fight the entire mixed martial arts world is talking about when “The Phenom”, former UFC light heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort, makes his long-awaited return to the Octagon to face UFC superstar Rich “Ace” Franklin in the main event of UFC 103. Also featured on the biggest MMA event to ever hit Texas will be perhaps the most explosive heavyweight battle of the year when one of the sport’s most feared strikers, Mirko Cro Cop, takes on Brazilian knockout artist Junior Dos Santos.

    Rich Franklin Vs. Vitor Belfort
Mirko 'Cro-Cop' Filipovic Vs. Junior Dos Santos
Paul "Semtex" Daley Vs. Martin Kampmann
Josh Koscheck Vs. Frank "Twinkletoes" Trigg
    Tyson Griffin Vs. Hermes Franca
    Efrain Escudero Vs. Cole Miller
    Drew McFedries Vs. Tomasz Drwal
    Jim Miller Vs. Steve Lopez
    Rafaello Oliveira Vs. Nik Lentz
X (Was to be Paul Daley) Vs. Brian Foster
    Eliot Marshall Vs. Jason Brilz
Vladimir "The Janitor" Matyushenko Vs. Igor Pokrajac
Rob Emerson Vs. Rafael Dos Anjos

Mike Swick, who was scheduled to face Martin Kampmann is out with a concussion in training. The winner was to face Georges St.Pierre for the Welterweight title. Steve Lopez, not the American Tae Kwon Do 2000 and 2004 Olympic gold medalist I think, replaces an injured Thiago Tavares against Jim Miller. Nik Lentz steps in to replace Dan Lauzon, Joe Lauzon's younger brother. Old UFC vet Vladimir Matyushenko won an unanimous decision over Yuki Kondo at UFC 32 in 2001, and this is his first fight back in the octagon since losing to Andrei Arlovski in 2003. He faces Igor Pokrajac, of the Cro-Cop team, who has a record of 21-5 and is on eight-fight winning streak against guys with cool names.

    Picks?

The Belfort Vitor boxing is feared Franklin, although very comprehensive technology, but his lack of Belfort Vitor like that, so the fist weapons Belfort Vitor in hand.:owneddanc

Standing and trading was not a very successful tactic either. Did he really outstrike Edgar and Sherk?

Cro Cop should have never fought a bigger younger dude, look like his mind is not ok .He wants to prove sth? What that he already hasn't proven. He is not doing it for the money. In his country he is already a god, why take chances against what looked to me, specially after the interview, a mentally retarded dude.

Cro Cop was in shape, but the fact is that he is old.
Man seeing the legend getting brutally hit like that, I felt like I was getting hit. I panic thinking same thing would happen to the russian bear steppin in the octagon. In the Pit bull fight he looked he was getting owened.
If CC was say 5 years younger, I would feel bad for DS's ass.

Belfort seemed to employ the same boxing stance as does Machida, leaning with the head back, like fck old style boxing.Rashad got owneed, Rich got owened, whos next?

I'm suprised soo many people doubted Belfort the guy is an absolute beast.

Cro Cop looked far too bulky and REALLY sluggish.
(this guy used to be soo explosive)
He could easily drop down to LW and would probably benefit from loosing some mass. He's pretty much blown any chance of getting a HW title shot anytime soon.

Some legends have a sad ending. Crocop looked old, fat and scared in the octagon, and he got seriously beat up.
I don't know if getting ktfo'd would have been a more honorable ending to Crocops career. But seeing him turn away and give up like that was just sad.
