Wait, the UFC finally cut Houston?

Wow, I guess Nebraska isn't a keystone to their taking over midwestern America anymore...

I'd make picks if I'd heard of anyone beyond the 1st two bouts. I expect Sylvia to win a boring decision, and Houston to either punch a hole through the other guy's ear canal, or get his arm ripped off.

From what I've heard, Houston is actually fighting in this card with the UFC's permission. He better be careful, though, because Pendergarst is a YAMMA Pit Fighting veteran.

    Hey now, lets be fair-
Pendergarst is also the guy who got leg kicked into oblivion by Antoni Hardonk.

Even so, I predict he'll pull off a kickass James Thompson-style takedown on Houston and lay on him until Alexander taps from exhaustion.

    Certainly possible.
Especially since Sherman was built like his namesake at Heavyweight.

In fact, now that I think of it, did Houston move up to Heavy for this? That would make more sense to me than Pendergarst cutting to 205 at his age. Curious to see if he loses any shooting speed if he did cut.

Yeah, that Tim Silvia fight would have looked better as a jello wrestling competition. Alexander looked good though. Those kicks were crucial.
