There is all this talk about how Deadliest Warrior is larping and frankly I don't care. Is it larping, yeah mostly. Is it crappy over the top melodramatic bs, yeah mostly. Those aren't the pertinent questions though. We should be asking do I get too see a gel torso shot/stabbed/blown up? The answer is unequivocally, yes. It is kind of a mythbusters effect. I mean who would watch that show if they blew nothing up?

I want to see entire societies fighting each other. So instead of Viking vs Samurai we get:

Viking Raiders vs Feudal Japan
I'm thinking Feudal Japan would be pretty fucked via rapid coastal assault.
