I had something like that on the back of my left wrist from too much heavy bag work. After a few months it went away on its own all of a sudden. I think that I "popped the bubble" during a roll. It didn't hurt when it popped either.

Water on the knee, or simply an impressive case of edema.
DOctor can drain it if it isn't indicative of other serious injury. And lo, Kano looked down upon the field and saw the multitudes. Amongst them were the disciples of Uesheba who were greatly vexed at his sayings. And Kano spake: "Do not be concerned with the mote in thy neighbor's eye, when verily thou hast a massive stick in thine ass".

Went to the Dr. this am. It is my Patella Bursa, she drained about 20cc of what looked like a good Cabernet and injected about 4 cc of cortisone. No rolling for two weeks. If it doesn't go away they might need to remove the bursa.

I'm just getting over sort of the same thing in my elbow. The doctor told me it was Bursitis. He drained it and put me on antibiotics for two weeks, and said to rest it. It is getting better...but then again I don't have to walk with my arms.
The doc told me the same thing about removing the Bursa *shutters*

One of my friends had something similar and it turned out to be somekind of infection. The doctor would have chopped his foot of if he came in 1-2 days later than he did..
