    question: do you now need to get a new headgear? can you have it tested to make sure that it hasn't been structurally compromised?

    I haven't gotten it back yet, but I'll bet it's fine. I'll probably hit it with my regular weapons and see how it's holding up. They're pretty sturdy pieces of equipment.
