why don't you fix your no liscense etc problems
also I'm assuming if you're 18 and living at home you're either got one year of HS left or you're heading to school or something? Start looking for schools in the area you'll be in.
Look around for a community boxing program, a lot of the time they aren't well publicized. There's no choice but to confront you, to engage you, to erase you. I've gone to great lengths to expand my threshold of pain. I will use my mistakes against you. There's no other choice. -

So! I was in the area turning in a job application and saw their black belt class was starting.
I walked in ready to introduce myself and ask about sparring, contact, aliveness, et all --
'Sensei', i believe one of the founders sons, was busy in the class, so i took in the sights and sounds for a bit. A lot of children milling around playing, looked like they were having fun, felt a pang of humanity which made it a little bit harder to judge them for their mcdojoish practices. An awkward 20something man with a neckbeard putting on a blackbelt, and two 40+ yearolds doing forms on a hardwood dance floor.
Finally, the receptionist brings Sensei (he was reffered to only as sensei) out to answer my questions.
Apparently they don't have adult classes. As i walked out, i heard receptionist confusedly asking awkwardneckbeard something. and his reply -- 'because we have too many blackbelts'.
I'm not surprised, but i cant quite figure out why an obvious no contact (no bags, pads, or mats anywhere to be found) karate place is turning away potential students. ;( -
