You can medicate people who don't want to be medicated without their knowledge or consent, but there are consequences.

The people will want to maintain their Purity Of Essence.

This is just like trying to get people out of religion or a cult.

There's Exit Counseling and more radically Deprogramming neither of which emphasize the use of any kind of drug.

A Cluebat might be useful though.

Next time little Johnny talks about how awesome and anti-grapply his TKD black belt is, drop a pint of acid into his coke, and make him watch Strike Force.

You just made a positive point for drugs. Can she be Brazilian or Thai?

Being wrong or misguided is not a mental illness, and belief is more complicated than taking a pill. Meds can make you more susceptible to suggestion, and they can change your mood, but they can't make you believe or not believe anything in particular. Anti-psychotic medications will only change your beliefs about martial arts if those beliefs are a product of actual psychosis.

Hi, I'm newb as can be. So this is my virgin post.
In response to the OP: yes, medication most definitely can have that effect although I am unsure of what you are alluding to.
Anti-psychotic meds for starters are there just for that. But there's more.
I do have mental healthcare experience (from the giving end).
As for the rest of you I've been snooping around for a few days and find this place a delight. I'm honored to become a part of it.

It could have gotten someone killed as evidenced by the Bobby Joe Blythe vid.
