Hey, i just got on winterbreak and since i won't be able to meet up with the people i usually sparr with at school, do you all want to organize a sparring event in Chicago? :copdance:

I would be up for it. The last one was at new breed martial arts academy in skokie.
Any one else up for it?

Can we potentially get new breed academy to give us mat space again?
Jewish Steve? Anyone? Anyone interested in having one?

Yeah, if someone could get some space that'd be great. Who was the person who got it last?

I might be interested. I visit Chicago on a fairly regular basis, and I have a friend from there who's into MA.
It'd mostly be a matter of convincing him to go and using it as an excuse to hang out in the city for a weekend.

Alright, seems that we got some people now, so now to cover where it'll actually take place.

There's gotta be more people interested than just us. The last throwdown seemed to spark a lot more interest in chicago bullies, where you guys at? Bill Danosky? Ignignot?
We can try doing it during new breed's open mat (saturday, 11-1pm I think) I don't train there but they may let us. If not I could possibly ask my kickboxing instructor if it's a possibility.
Anyone else have any other ideas?

I lead a pretty dang busy life, but I could try to get down there (in spite of being a shitty, shitty noob) and bring a person or two. I just need some time in advance.
When are we talking about?
