    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    MA in Haag?

A friend of mine is going to be working in Haag for a few months and is interested in training some MA while he is there. He has little MA-experience, but wants to try it out. Can anyone recommend a good gym/club for him?

    Thanks for any help.

So, is this one of those subtle dutch jokes where you appear to be an ignorant boor, but really you know that haag is the same as the hague?

Yes it is the Hague, I assumed (apparently incorrectly) that any dutchman would understand what city I was referring to. Apologies for the lack of clarification then, now, any suggestions as to good gyms/clubs?

Thanks for the tips, I told him to check out kickboxing/MT (Holland being famous for the quality of those arts and all) but I'll relay those and see what he says.

As to the question of what he likes.. He hasn't done much MA at all, so I don't really know. It seems that he mostly just wants a fun workout.

if he wanst fun and a workout i'd say the boxing school: they focus on both competition and recreational classes.
i would not advice a noob to immediately jump in the deep end of the martial swimmingpool that is muay thai.
i'd suggest: check out the boxing gym, loox like a ton of fun with knowledgeble people with a passion for it, then if he would like to test himself some more go to a MT gym.
    tons of MT gyms here.
