    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Anyone hear of James Neeter!

Has anyone heard of a martial artist from Uckfield, East Sussex, England named James Neeter? I have been surfing the web and looking for some Shorin Ryu Karate in England where I am going on vacation, and this guy reeks of total BS.

This 35 year old dude from the U.K. has many BS posts all over the web. He has joined many talk groups. But there is no real info on him or who his teachers are/were. He is claiming to be Matsumura Shorin Ryu, but yet doesn't practice anything that Master Kise or Grand Master Shoshin Nagamine taught or any of the Kobayashi or Shobayashi groups teach. And the funniest thing to me is his Blog. He makes many referrals to Sakugawa and has borrowed many links.

I think he is total BS, as well as what he is trying to sell. (himself)

I haven't seen that many people in the U.K. associated with Okinawan Shorin ryu and this guy posts like he is some sort of Master. He is rude and arrogant and puts down many good traditional and mixed martial arts people especially shorin ryu people... this screams BS to me.

Has anyone ever see this guy in action or any of his students? Does he have any students? Has he even trained with anyone? He sure does like to talk crap about everyone else!

My name is Shane Cooper I will be 40 years old to soon! I am currently in Atlanta Ga. I am a U.S. Army specialist I have been stationed on Okinawa and mainland Japan. I started Shorin ryu in 1975 under John Clark and Arnold Mitchell and Riley Hawkins, I have also studied with Donna Judge and George Alexander, I have studied Uechi ryu with George Mattson and Ricky Martin I have studied with Sensie Akamine while on Okinawa and Yasuzato Sensei in Sasaebo Japan. I consider myself still a white belt even if i have been awarded Dan Ranks.

I saw a thread by him and it was bad! I agree he does appear to put down other martial artists to try and make himself look good. Look's like a dweeb! I heard on another group that he is a talker not a trainer. He seems to think highly of himself you know over inflated ego! His arms are thin no muscle, wrists are tiny, his knuckles are very undeveloped. I can't believe he hits a makiwara more likely a pillow! My two cents!

    Shane,

I was stationed on Okinawa with the USMC back in 82-83.

Odd, I don't remember an Army base there.

Can you set me straight on this issue?
