Not exactly the qualifications I'd seek in an MMA teacher, but it doesn't appear that he's lieing. Unless he has some advertisements or marketing materials that say something other than his bio.

In the class I went too he didnt claim to have any rank. He did claim to be a top flight instructor in all areas. He compared himself to Jason Morris Judo Club (top flight Judo instructor just up the road), and Spa City Jiu Jitsu (owned by a legit Ricardo Almedia/Renzo Gracie black belt). He claimed students at his dojo would get the same quality instruction as those other schools, but at half the price.

So, reading between the lines slightly, he claims to be as good of an instructor as an Olympic Medalist and coah in Judo, and a legit black belt in BJJ.

I think we invite him to the site. His background is sketchy, and a lot of the younger guys in the class who didnt know any better were buying into it. Only a matter of time before he pops up teaching somewhere else. The sad thing is, a lot of kids in the class thought they were good. Everyone single one of them would get smashed at the other grappling schools in the area.

i train with steve. not bjj but thai and he is a great striker and teaches it very well. i have a title fight on PPV in two weeks.

That looks to be a pretty comprehensive list of upcoming fights. Especially any that will have a PPV portion. Go ahead and tell us which fight card you are on.
