You feel sorry for him? Then why don't you go defend him? This ought to be interesting.
You come into a thread, say you aren't going to read the original but, you start naming off things that happened in the original thread?
That's stupid. The hood mentality is crippling disease, that attacks your nervous system. It makes you nervous of the system. Gangsters and hood rats are especially susceptible to this growth stunting mentality. The hood is where I'm from, but it's not what I am. Meh, it's much the same to me. It's still you even if you're using an avatar instead of a real photo and a pseudonym instead of your real name.
But, yes, regardless of the medium, it still is embarrassing and I still feel sorry for him/her (which is it, actually?). In any case, I can't help but feel some compassion. It's in my nature I suppose.

Kind of feel sorry? There are degrees of stupidity that should never be forgiven because it is what it is. Hard to express tone on the internet. I stated what I did with a smile. He's the one who put his foot in his mouth. If he doesn't want to admit he's wrong then he just get's placed with Bruce and his ego.
Can you imagine how this conversation would've happened in real life:
Joe: I don't want to hear the whole story why not just challenge him at .
Me: Um...Yeah we did that.
Joe: Oh...well...
Me: You think all this would've dragged on and nobody thought about that.
Joe: Well yeah but..
Me: But nothing...remember you didn't want to hear the whole thing.
Joe: Well I don't need to know the whole thing.
Me: I could've just told you the abridged version.
Joe: I already knew the abridged version.
Me; If you knew the abridged version why did you suggest the challenge thing?
Joe: What I meant was I knew everybody thought this guy was fake.
Me: So you didn't know the abridged version.
Joe: Yes I did.
Me: You really don't like to admit when you're wrong do you?
Joe: Yes I do.
Me: Well you're wrong right now.
Joe: No I'm not.
Me: You're Canadian aren't you? -

Nice addition, the Canadian thing. Did you just do that because Bruce Downey is also Canadian and refuses to acknowledge that he's wrong?
We shall have to agree to disagree about which degree of stupidity is unforgiveable. A stupid statement, forgiveable. Forgetting you have a baby in the back seat of your car before parking in the sun and spending a full day at the office... unforgiveable.
For me, at least. But again, that's just me.
