Could somebody confirm this? I sent an e-mail to that news site but I have a feeling it will go to the trash can.

Somebody should loose their job. Also the black belt was supposed to be a Marine sgt which makes this story even juicer for the press.

The dojo where the assault was filmed is / was in Dumfries, Virginia

at least according to my stalker Fu ;)

Could it be to do with the fact that he claims that he was trained by Jesus?

This dummy was in my shopping center while I was on a Bodyguard Job in Washington, DC. This guy was in the Pizza Hut eating pizza off the plates of others and the Pizza Hut Manager ran him out with a pistol. Later the very same day, police officers were called to remove him from a nearby pharmacy after having been caught reaching into customer's purses. A short time after that, he visited a Napa Auto Parts store next to my Karate Dojo and told the management he planned on teaching in that Dojo and that Jesus taught him.

the audio is terrible on the clip, but you can hear him also say that Jesus awarded him a red belt.

This concerns me too

The Napa guys told him he was confused (their polite way of warning the man against such action), but not wanting to miss a show, they told the man they would close early just to watch and that he must not know the owner, which is nobody to play with.. Needless to say, the police pulled him out of the dumpster behind my Karate Dojo where he was neatly placed. Semper Fi to all my Marine brothers. The karate student in the white is also a Marine Sgt. and a brand new Black Belt. Never get stupid with a Marine, you could get jacked up and have your clock stopped.

So if this is true, the cops just didn't bother investigating what happened to the man, or possibly just didn't care.

It suggests that this was a situation where the cops and the instructor knew each other. The fact that the instructor refers to the cops being called re this man 2 times before he turned up at the dojo would seem to consolidate this. How would he know this if the cops had not told him?

Also we all saw the blood trail, which extended behind the floor and onto the door and grass outside. Had the cops bothered to investigate this incident there would have been plenty of forensic evidence.

Also, something does not quite add up. If the man had been caught trying to steal from women's purses earlier that day, and the cops were called, why was he not arrested and in jail? I know next to nothing about your legal system in the US so please accept my apologies if this is a silly question and there is a good answer for it.

Perhaps the title should contain a clear warning because I normally I steer clear of anything that could be a snuff film and I feel pretty awful from watching this. (Not saying anyones at fault, just a suggestion.)

Seems to indicate that the beaten guy had some kind of psychological problem. Whether he could be classed as loco, is a technical matter.

The video makes me quite sad. One, due to the obvious over-use of force after the guy was down. Two, due to the status of the Karate sensei and the black belt as martial artists and furthermore, their military service. Three, that those involved (at least video uploader) has the cheek to boast about it.

I had no problem with them taking down the nutjob, well until the point he conceded.
Why the hell they would beat him after that is beyound me, since the guy was clearly mental.

It's not often I feel disgusted with something, but today this takes the prize.
