Since Ronald Mackey has been fired for being a liar, we can assume he was lying when he said kung fu guy was alive, otherwise they would provide his identity. I really feel that this case is only the tip of the iceberg, and the rest involves the corruption and good old boy mentality of the Dumfries police.

No, you can assume and make that leap in logic. People do change as they get older and what he did to get fired doesn't necessarily reflect on his past actions.

Looks like Blythe crashed his plane (again!) on Oct 21, 2011. According to this report Blythe suffered "a moderate head injury."

A second report mentions that Blythe, "has a few felonies," and that, "The FAA took Bobby Joe Blythe's pilot's license away from him in 2001, after he did not mention he was convicted of two felonies related to drug possession."

Anything's possible. The clothing is clearly not the same; don't know if you're implying that he died that day, or just that it might be him...

Clothing: Found at scene: tan slacks, size 34-32, gray-green slacks, size 34-29, one left Reebok DMX tennis shoe, size 9. A Chicago White Sox cap.

Also, it might be worth running down the name "John Hardy" as related to martial arts ;)

At first, I dismissed John Doe being KFG based on height and date. However, there is room for doubt.

John Doe is 5"7-8 based on skeletal remains.

If his age estimate is accurate, John Doe was between 35-39 years old in January 2002. He would have been born between 1962-67 and aged 17-23 in 1984.

John Doe's left cheek had an "exostosis". I think this means a new bone formation or bone spur that could have been caused by injury, such as when stomped with his left cheek against a metal disk at 4 min 53 seconds in the video (the first stomp).

Also coincidental is where John Doe was found and was said to have lived as a homeless person.

I find it hard to believe KFG survived the attack though.

Let me preface this by saying that what I am about to say is purely speculation. I was a bank teller for many years. Facial recognition and signature analysis were specialties of mine that I was called on for by the banks I worked at.

I took a look at the basic reconstruction drawing and it occurred to me that this was based on a normal approximation of muscle and fat and included the width of the injury. Being homeless, skinny, malnourished would have reduced his proximal width. So I reduced the photo's width in P-shop by 10% (I did not adjust the height)and got this.


Whats glaring to me is the offset of the eyes and ocular process position and shape. the ratio of the slope of the nose to the length of the skull in relation to the cheek structure. Which is almost spot on. And the space to the lips as well as the approximate lip width . The hairline ratio to the edge of the eyebrow and skull length is very close. The approximate lip structure is very close. The ear to jaw line is a dead giveaway. The facial components here are strikingly similar.

Nothing can be substantiated by this.

But my gut and my eye say glaringly YES.

It is very possible that Doe did survive the initial encounter, get dumped, woke up , went to his stash, changed cloths and died of septicemia some time later. The exostosis means he was living with it for some time. A few weeks could have done the job. Infection could have set in if untreated. Homeless, crazy, starving, do the math.
