It's all about the clinch. The clinch, I said.

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender,
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even to the dull and ignorant;
they too have their story.
-excerpt of the poem called "Desiderata," by Max Ehrman, 1927. -

To note, this might be where he teaches. It's a place no more than a 10 minute walk from my house:
http://www.concordiaturners.org/programs.php
Scroll down to the end of the page where it says they are offering kung fu, but don't specify what style.
I bring attention to this place, because my parents took me there for swimming lessons in my youth, and to my knowledge my godmother/godfather is active with this gymnastic group, or at least was many years ago.
I can now recall watching a video of said godfather dressed up in some wacky uniform doing a kung fu form with a Chinese spear of some sort, when my godmother used to babysit me.
Now I wonder if he either does a different style than the Chun, or if he simply practices two or more styles of kung fu.Last edited by ZenOfAnger; 8/07/2009 11:58am at . Reason: More info to add.

Heads up: I may send them an email and ask what style of kung fu they have available, and who is teaching. It seems to be in conjunction with kickboxing, but seeing as it is a family rec center, it may just be the Chun with boxercise.
Will update as soon as I get a reply email.Let your anger be like a monkey trapped inside a pinata; waiting inside, hoping that the children don't break through with the stick.
