I think pinching your knees during any armbar attempt is really important.

Sometimes the finish is not really as important as the setup, moose. I can finish an armbar a thousand different ways, but the real challenge lies in finding a way to get it.

Personally, I find it best to armbar when someone attempts to push me off of mount.
