Finally Shadowrun is here. Where do we get all of the cool cybernetics implanted?
I thought this clothing has already proven itself down in Colombia.

We had snorkel parkas, skinhead pilot/bomber jackets and reefer jackets with ballistic armour inside in Northern Ireland in 1989, they looked awful though but no worse than the stuff on the site.

What, did you shoot a guy wearing one of these? Did you buy one and get shot to death, and now type to us from beyond the grave?

First of all, any front buttoning jacket will have a weak spot straight up the center along your entire torso where the ballistic panels meet, unless they overlap which would defeat the purpose of being inconspicuous.
Second, The cut of the panels will be necessarily inadequate compared to standard vest design due to concessions being made for the article of clothing's appearance, or again you defeat the purpose of being inconspicuous.
Third, that **** costs retardedly more than standard concealed vests. If you want to spend THOUSANDS on concealable armor, you would be much better off putting down $500-$1000 on a custom fit vest, then spending the rest on a **** ton of custom fit clothing specifically fitted to you with the goal of concealing your vest, rather than spending the same money on ONE article of clothing that, for all it's cost, still will never look quite right, not to mention you lose your protection as soon as you take your jacket off.
The whole thing is a gimmick, and a stupid one at that.

Style: Over substance
Some countries ban the sale and possession of ballistic vests; clothing that includes ballistic materials is not covered by existing legislation (this is the case in Venezuela, not sure about Colombia)
and humble, too!

Oh Knave, you're such a card!
You're not understanding the sensibilities of the people this is marketed towards.
They are executives, not professional shooty-types.
They want to look good and impress others with their sick threads.
They do NOT want to go around with the revolting, yeasty BO that comes with a skin-tight concealed vest.
They do NOT want to sweat like pigs in front of the Sultan of Brunei.
They do NOT care how much it costs. If you have to ask, you can't afford it and so on.
Having slightly lowered protection is worthwhile compromise. They're surrounded by crazy assholes such as myself. If the bad guy gets off a single shot, the exec gets evacuated while the rest of us shoot the bad guy into bad guy butter.
Have you ever worn body armor Knave? You don't strike me as someone who has much of an idea of what they're talking about.
