    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Master Ken Kuek

Before I begin, i'd just like to say that i've a lot of respect for the guy. However, all the respect in the world won't protect a man from the truth. I've been meaning to do this and bring it up for a long-ass time. Ever since I saw his list of credentials and achievements, my journalist senses began tingling and it just didn't sit right with me at all.

Now I could just be being an overly paranoid dickbag, and I could quite possibly be a terrible amateur investigator... But at the moment, **** is just simply fishy to me.

For instance, he claims to be president of the International Martial Arts Council. (Through the website here: http://www.imacusa.com/), yet the current president and founder is some dude by the name of Professor Marty Cale.

I also don't seem to be able to find some of these positions on the websites of the a couple of the organizations that he claims to be involved in. Such as the claim for being the national Advisor for the USA Wushu/KungFu Federation.

I now present to you his list of accomplishments in their unaltered entirety:

    >President, USA Masters Academy
    >President, Kwok Wu Chuen Martial Arts Association
    >President, International Martial Arts Council, Inc.
    >National Director, USA Taekwondo Martial Arts Federation
    >Board of Director, Canandaigua Chamber of Commerce, 2001-2006
    >Head of Team and Head Coach, Team USA USTMF International
Taekwondo Invitational, Genting Highlands, Malaysia 2005
    >Meritorious Citation presented by the World Taekwondo
Moo Duk Kwan Association, Korea 2003
    >Head Coach, Team USA (US Cup/USTIU) 17th International Cup
    Taekwondo Championships, Sindelfingen, Germany 2002
    >Coach of the Year, US Taekwondo Instructors Union / US Cup, 1996,
    2000, 2001
    >Certificate of Commendation by Dr. Un Yong Kim, President of the
World Taekwondo Federation and the Vice President of the
    International Olympic Committee, 2000
    >Head of Team USA, Korea Taekwondo 2000, Seoul, Korea, 2000
    >Head of Team USA, United Kingdom Taekwondo Open
    Championships, Bristol, England, 1998
    >Chief Instructor, Hobart & William Smith College Taekwondo
    Program 1997-1998
    >National Advisor, USA WuShu KungFu Federation, 1996, 1997, 1998
    >Meritorious Citation presented by the Korea Taekwondo
Moo Duk Kwan Association, Korea 1997
    >President's Award presented by USTIU & US Cup Taekwondo 1996
    >Head of Team USA, International Taekwondo Invitational
    Championships, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 1995
    >USA Chief Instructor, International Shao Lin Nam Pai Chuan Society
    1993-1994
    >National Vice Chairman, US Amateur Athletic Union Taekwondo
    Committee, 1992, 1993
    >Defensive Tactics Instructor, Law Enforcement Personell
(Orleans & Monroe Counties Sherrif's Officers and SUNY
    Public Safety) 1988 -1993
    >Certified US National Referee 1989
    >Chief Instructor, State University of the New York Brockport
    Taekwondo Program 1986-1990
    >Malaysian Taekwondo Championships 1978, 1979, 1982, 1984
    >Instructor, Royal Malaysian Navy 1983, 1984
    >Taekwondo Instructors Award, Pahang Taekwondo Association,
    Malaysia 1984
    >Instructor, Teachers Training College, Malaysia 1982, 1983
    >Member of the Executive Council, Malaysia Taekwondo Association,
    1981, 1982, 1983

I've emailed the USA Wushu/KungFu Federation, the athletics and campus life centers, and the Canandaigua Chamber of Commerce.

So um... I'm not entirely how this works, but could a dude get a little help on this?

So I emailed the Canandaigua Chamber of Commerce yesterday... as well as Hobart & William Smith college, and SUNY Brockport.

So far i've yet to recieve a reply from the Wushu/KungFu Federation. Apparently from the website, (of course I could just be misreading something) but the position of National Vice Chairman doesn't even exist!

Master Ken Kuek ? Huh ok well first things first .

Do you have a website address or any documentation that he is actually making these claims ?

Are you a student or former student ?

Is there anything else besides his credentials you think should be questioned ?

Yes, that's it exactly. I was also a former student, but had to drop it after graduating high school.

I'm still waiting on those effing replies.

I'm not entirely sure about his ability to teach or fight. The thing is that he was usually always in his office, and he was just having us doing warm-ups, forms and such. We rarely did sparring, and it seemed like more attention was relegated to the black belt club.

Though i've never seen him fight. So i'm not entirely sure.

    I'll shoot him an email.

I'm not sure whether or not I should tell him that he's being investigated though.

I got an email back from one of the AAU guys. He was apparently with them according to Mike Friello (the guy that I asked) but not involved at that level.

I forgot to ask him what level that he was involved at. So I shot him another email...

Though i'm going to have to wait until August 5th, to get a response as he's going to be on vacation or something.
