Hockeyfighting became a martial art because of Sir Milton Wallace.

I believe Fairtex has a gym out in San Francisco. Or does your friend want all the forms and what not with it too?

I recommended that he try at least 3, hopefully a half dozen, different schools before settling down. These included Fairtex, EBM, whatever Kyokushin/Judo/BJJ he could find, and Serge's SAMBO place.

To the extent that he knows (or I know) what he wants, san da is absolutely fucking perfect for him. He's big on clinch, hard sparring, and body use/conditioning. I think he'd be very happy at a kung-fu-plus-san-da place, but who knows.

Search youtube, and you'll find all sorts of milton wallace gems.

It seems he's saying he won the 2009 Grappler's Quest Heavyweight title, now. Good for him.

Yes, as much of a joke he is to the bullshido website, he has video and won an MMA fight.

So, yes LULZ with the other crap but there you go.

He did but, let's put it into perspective.

Event Name: $25000 Grapplers Quest 10th Anniversary 2-Day Show
    Location: Del Mar, CA
    Date: March 21 2009
Division: Masters (40 yrs.+) No-Gi Beginner Heavyweight (200 lbs. and over)
    Place: 1st Place - 500 Points

Division: Masters (40 yrs.+) No-Gi Beginner Absolute Division
    Place: 1st Place - 600 Points
No-Gi Beginner. Also, I'm looking to see if it was a default win. You know, there are no 40+ people in his division.

    http://www.grapplersquest.com/rated/standing_global.cfm
    43rd place.

My first post on Bullshido was contributing to the original Milt Wallace investigation thread.

It was just unexpected seeing him there.
